The stage is set. The lights are on. And, the English Premier League Champions are ready for their final obstacle. Paris Saint-Germain is in terrific form, and we saw it in their encounter with mighty Bayern Munich. In a few hours, we will see whether Arsenal lift their first Champions League trophy or PSG become the 9th team to defend their title.
While the betting markets are running high for PSG, one can't underestimate Arsenal F.C. In their last 10 matches across all competitions, Arsenal have lost only two matches. PSG have lost three matches in the same period. Also, comparing the Premier League to Ligue 1 is like comparing apples to oranges. Whether you're a new fan or a die-hard devotee, we all know that the Premier League has higher overall standards.

Arsenal vs PSG Odds
Before we talk about the PSG squad or Arsenal squad, let's decode how the betting market works. Bookmakers or Bookies use historical stats, injuries, lineups, and public betting patterns. They set prices that balance their financial risk while attracting betters. In simpler words, the football betting market translates the probability of a match outcome into numerical odds.
Currently, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are entering the match as betting favorites, and Arsenal FC are the underdogs. According to Polymarket.com betting data, PSG has approximately 54% chances of winning, whereas Arsenal FC has around 43% chances of lifting the cup. While the gap is not huge, bettors feel that PSG has better chances. With millions of dollars at stake, this outcome is highly uncertain.

PSG vs Arsenal: Head-to-Head Encounters
The UCL Final at the Puskas Aréna, Budapest, Hungary, will be their seventh encounter. From 1994 to 2025, both have won twice and drawn thrice. Interestingly, PSG defeated Arsenal for the first time in the UCL 2025 semi-final and ended up becoming Champions of Europe. However, history does not play a critical role in sports. If the day is good, even Celtic can defeat a star-studded FC Barcelona.

PSG vs Arsenal: Predicted PSG Lineup for UCL Final
Although both Arsenal and PSG squads will be entering the Champions League final with full strength, the official lineups will be announced 1 hour before kickoff (around 4 PM BST / 8:30 PM IST). There are doubts about Achraf Hakimi. However, if he is unable to start, Warren Zaïre-Emery is most likely to replace him at the right-back position.
The midfield trio will have João Neves, Vitinha, and Fabián Ruiz, with the attackers Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué, and Ousmane Dembélé. PSG’s biggest fitness concerns were Dembélé and Hakimi, both of whom played a critical role in PSG’s success. Since announcement has been made, PSG are arguably at full strength and among the most dangerous attacking clubs in European football.

PSG vs Arsenal: Predicted Arsenal Lineup for UCL Final
Arsenal might be riding high on their recent Premier League triumph and would be eager to continue their winning run. Mikel Arteta’s men are expected to be set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. With David Raya as goalkeeper, the backline features Jurrien Timber alongside William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães, and Riccardo Calafiori. The return of Jurrien after missing 14 games would be the most vital point for Arsenal’s defense.
The midfield would have Declan Rice, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Martin Ødegaard, whereas Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard will be two wide attackers, while Kai Havertz leads the line. Though Arsenal has a powerful squad, Saka’s ability to take defenders one-versus-one and win penalties would be central to the Gunners’ attacking plan. As of now, Ben White remains the only confirmed absentee for Arsenal with a knee injury.
