Zoom Communications has announced AI companion 3.0, its latest AI tool designed to help users manage meetings, tasks and customer interactions. The announcement was made at Zoomtopia 2025, the company's annual conference.

An authority from Zoom said that AI Companion 3.0 will be able to deliver important elements like meeting transcripts, chat history, documents and important data to provide valuable insights and summaries as required by the customer. It will also include tools that will enable the user to take down important notes across Zoom and other platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.

It also involves important functions like automated meeting preparation, task reminders, writing assistance and real-time voice translation. Users will also be able to generate reports and documents using proper data from both internal and external sources.

Pricing Structure For Zoom AI Companion

The new version is available from November 2025 at no extra cost for paid users of Zoom Workplace accounts. For larger organizations who require tailored integrations (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or any other specialized workflows), Zoom offers them a customisable AI companion at $12 per user, every month. 

However, for those who are on a basic plan and don't want to upgrade it to a full “Workplace” license but want to avail the full AI capabilities, Zoom is launching a standalone AI Companion with a monthly subscription starting at $10 every month.

Other Service Updates

For customer-facing operations, Zoom introduced new features in its “Customer Experience Suite” and “Zoom Virtual Agent.” These include AI tools to assist human users in tracking the quality of interaction with the customer and also provide data insights to managers.

Also, the company has announced “Zoom Revenue Accelerator,” an AI-driven sales tool that can help in identifying potential leads, send personalized outreach and schedule follow-ups.

The company said the recent updates aim to make the workplace collaboration and customer management more effective as well as more efficient by reducing manual tasks and making the interactions with the customers smooth without creating any hassle in between.
