There is something great about Fridays. Your tiring work week is ending, new movies are releasing, web series are premiering, and you have 48 hours of pure bliss, unless you are working on Saturday. If you have been following HBO for a while, it's time to witness Hacks in its final stretch. It's time for a farewell to the sharply written comedy by Lucia Aniello, Jen Statsky, and Paul W. Downs.

After years of showing an uneasy partnership between characters of Deborah Vance and Ava Daniels, which was super entertaining as well, the final season is expected to be the one last dance between the two. Not a literal dance, though. So, if you are an HBO Max viewer, it's time to have some fun with your loved ones.

The show already premiered on Thursday, April at 9:00 PM ET, with a rollout set to continue weekly after that. Whether you are in the United States, Canada, Europe or Asia, the show is available globally, making it easier to watch in more places than before.

The final season is available on HBO Max, and it has already been released in different parts of the world. The season will follow a weekly release pattern and will conclude by Thursday, May 28.

The international expansion of HBO Max includes the UK and Ireland, along with additional European markets, which explains why this show is traveling more easily than before. It matters for a show like Hacks, which is primarily shot on the West Coast. What makes it more relatable is the office politics and fast dialogues, making it worth watching.

Created by a trio of writers, Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs and Jen Statsky, Hacks first premiered in 2021 on HBO Max and quickly became one of the finest written comedies in the last few years. The story revolves around Deborah Vance, played by Jean Smart, and Ava Daniels, played by Hannah Einbinder. It is about a complex and funny relationship between these two that powers the show through a mix of biting humor, career anxiety and emotional friction.

The actors Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Paul W. Downs, Rose Abdoo, Megan Stalter and Mark Indelicato are also returning to give the farewell season a familiar backbone. According to the HBO Max description, Deborah and Ava are back in Las Vegas and are building Deborah's legacy after false reports of her death, which sounds dramatic but leaves plenty of room for the show's signature comedy.

Cameos and final-season buzz

What makes Hacks so watchable is its surprising guests and sharp supporting turns. Season 4 featured some memorable cameos and guest appearances from Carrot Top, Margaret Cho, Laurie Metcalf and Mario Lopez, supporting the show's ability to turn a simple comedy episode into a mini-event, without affecting the story.

The final season might continue that tradition with a guest list that includes the likes of Tony Goldwyn, Kaitlin Olson, John Sibyl, and some big names in comedy and television. The mix of comedy and TV suggests that the show is aiming for a farewell season with delightful random detours as well as emotional payoff. So, get ready to witness the chaotic fun you want for the weekend.
